Yankees Blow Lead Late in 4-2 Loss to Mets

Despite leading 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th inning, the New York Yankees were unable to hang onto the lead as they fell to the New York Mets.

Gleyber Torres drove in a run with an RBI single and James Paxton drove in the other run on a sacrifice bunt.

Paxton turned in a quality start, allowing just one run over six innings. Adam Ottavino got the loss, giving up three runs with two of them being earned.

The Yankees will look to bounce back tomorrow night with Domingo German making his first start since going on the injured list.
