Yankees fall to Mets 10-4

The New York Yankees fell behind 3-0 on Peter Alonso’s three run home run in the first inning and were never able to come back as they fell to the New York Mets 10-4.

Gio Urshela, Gleyber Torres, and Clint Frazier each drove in runs in the third inning. Brett Gardner hit a solo home run in the ninth inning.

James Paxton got the loss, as he gave up six runs over two and two-thirds innings pitched.

After an off day tomorrow, the Yankees will be on the road to kick off a four game series with the Chicago White Sox.
