The carousel of Yankees injuries continues

Just when it seemed as though the Yankees' parade of players headed to the IL might be slowing down, it was announced today that two more were heading to the IL.

Jonathan Loaisiga was placed on the 10-day IL (retroactive to 5/10) with a right shoulder strain. Aaron Boone indicated Loaisiga would not throw for four weeks. Chance Adams was recalled from Scranton to replace Loaisiga on the roster.

Miguel Andujar was placed back on the 10-day IL with a right labrum tear. Boone said the Yankees would be conducting new testing and imaging to "get a better handle on this". Nestor Cortes Jr. was recalled from Scranton to replace Andujar on the roster.

Some good news was announced today, however, as the Yankees reinstated OF Aaron Hicks from the 10-day IL. Hicks had been out with back pain since spring training.
