The Yankees and Adam Ottavino reached a 3-year/$27 million dollar deal today, sources say.
Ottavino will join his fellow former Rockies teammates, Troy Tulowitzki and DJ LaMahieu as recent Yankee acquisitions.
In 2018, Ottavino pitched 77 2/3 innings, posted a 2.43 ERA with a 0.99 WHIP, six saves and 112 strikeouts.
John Ottavino, Adam's father was quoted as saying, "When he called me two nights ago and told me, he had the sound of happiness in his voice I haven’t heard in a very long time. He could not possibly be happier."
Ottavino is likely the last piece to what should prove to be a devastating bullpen for the New York Yankees.
